Quinta da Chaminé

Had a fantastic 4 day stay in this huge villa in Alentejo with my friends! The owners and Marta were incredibly friendly and did everything to make our stay perfect. The outdoor space is amazing - we enjoyed a great BBQ, volleyball and cricket. Even on a rainy day the spacious lounge with TV and table football kept us entertained. The kitchen is huge and well equipped. There's also a cool chimney to add to the cosy atmosphere. Highly recommended for a fantastic holiday full of fun activities!

The owners (Francisco and his lovely wife) greeted us and made us feel very welcome at their beautiful Quinta. The rooms were very clean and modern with a quaint charm about them. The bed was comfortable but firm and linens were soft and fresh. The living room (great room) was spacious with a warm atmosphere feeling like home. The light breakfast each morning ( that was included in our two night stay) was tasty and the coffee was amazing!! There are delightful restaurant options for dinner just 10 mins away. Very peaceful outside patio with beautiful view of the olive trees and landscape. It was great just having a coffee and relaxing while listening to the birds chirp to the sunset. The location is out in the country, look for the small signage and be prepared for a short dirt road driveway. Very unassuming front entrance but well worth the trip. Thank you Marta as well..

We had a super comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful with all our requests. We traveled with 4 of our horses and they could provide good facilities for them also. We had the pleasure to meet the owner with whom we shared beautiful stories around the fireplace and enjoyed playing music together. The food was excellent and the service impeccable. All staff is multilingual (Spanish/English) and arrived at the hotel recently full of enthusiasm and willingness. Definitely a place I would return to.
