Quinta da Estrela

We spent a wonderful week as a family at Quinta da Estrela. The setting is absolutely exceptional: wild, unspoiled nature, vast and peaceful spaces, perfect for relaxing and reconnecting. Our daughter loved exploring the surroundings and especially enjoyed the swimming pool — a real paradise for kids (and parents!). Tim and Saartje are truly amazing hosts. You can feel how deeply committed they are to this place, which they bring to life with so much passion. Their warm welcome, kindness, and genuine care made our stay truly special. They are beautiful people, sincere and attentive, who have created a space where you immediately feel at home. The accommodation is comfortable, spotless, and perfectly suited for a relaxing family holiday. Everything is simple, thoughtful, and harmoniously integrated into the natural environment. We will keep precious memories of this week and we highly recommend Quinta da Estrela to anyone looking for an authentic and peaceful experience in Portugal, far away from the mass tourism. Quinta da Estrela is a magical place to stay. Slightly off the beat and track with the most spectacular views. The hosts are very helpful and the cabins are fully equipped with everything you need. The area is stunning with hikes, small medieval towns, and loads of castles to visit. I was there in November so can only imagine how wonderful the pool would be to float in while enjoying the scenery.

Perfect stay! What a wonderful setting with beautiful views! Great, clean house with all (and more) you might ever need on holiday. We traveled with 2 children (13 & 10) and they also loved the place. Tim and Saartje were the best hosts. Thanks for a magical stay!
