We thought this was a great spot for the price, located right next to the beach . It’s a cute closed in space with the buildings that house rooms, outside in what looks like May have been a barn was converted to a game room, there’s a tennis court, bicycles for 5€/day (I think that was the price), an area with farm animals (I saw some goats there, didn’t go all the way in), and I believe there was a pool. Dona Leticia was super welcoming, made sure we were comfortable, and since we had appointments in the morning, we were going to miss breakfast. She made sure we were taken care of and left us some breakfast treats. That’s Portuguese kindness and hospitality ❤️
We - 4 of us- stayed at this wonderful place on our first day in Lisbon, Portugal. It is a short 30 minute drive away from Lisbon airport across Ponte Vasco da Gama in Alochete. It is in a very scenic waterfront location with extensive gardens, pool and a center courtyard. The breakfast is extensive and delicious in a converted wine seller with a lot of character!! The rooms are large and we'll appointed with views of the gardens - we stayed in rooms 7 & 8. Our room had a wood burning fireplace. There is a bicycle rental available from the premises and also a table tennis/pool room that is always open. The rooms have a safe and a mini refrigerator filled with a selection of wines, Chocolate, etc. This is for folks who want to be close to a large city but away from the traffic and noise. It has plenty of free street parking around. The staff was very professional and helpful. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. Our only regret is that we stayed here only one night due to our schedule. A definite choice for stay when again in Lisbon, Portugal.
Very nice Location but unfortunately someone stole 130 Euro out oft my wallet. The wallet was in our locked room, so only a Person with a key could have taken it. There was no engagement by the manager to clarify the case. We would have come back, but now there is no way that this is gonna happen.
