It was ok, the cabins were cozy and the area is beautiful, BUT, it's definitely a novelty stay, I would say only good for one night of stay for the experience, it's too remote for the whole stay, so definitely don't plan to stay here for your whole trip. Also heaters in our room didn't work, we had a small plug in heater that didn't do too much. Bring your own shampoo/body wash as these were not provided in the bathroom. There is also no tea or coffee but there is a electric coffee maker and kettle.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would! We wanted to cancel our last night, as the policy allowed, but our request was denied. There was no hot water or WiFi, despite being listed in the description, and the owner was completely unresponsive. While the atmosphere was decent, the location was difficult to find and the road from Funchal was quite dangerous. I recommend staying away from this place!!!

There was no hot water or WiFi, even though those were promised in the listing. The owner couldn’t care less and was completely unresponsive. The atmosphere was mediocre at best, but the location was nearly impossible to find, and the road from Funchal was treacherous. To top it all off, the bed was horrendous—old, lumpy, and felt like sleeping on a slab of concrete. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place at all costs!
