Incredible property painstakingly renovated over 15 years by the warm and friendlt.owner Fernando. Beautiful rooms and common areas, delicious breakfast on the terrace with produce from the property. Welcome drinks and charcuterie were heavenly. We wanted to stay longer than two nights! The pool was beautiful and a morning walk through vineyards down to the river for a awim was a highlight.
Fernando was an excellent host for a day visiting the winery. We messaged on WhatsApp and he accommodated us with a tour around the vines, down to the river and in the cellar/winemaking room. We were very impressed and his hospitality was unmatched. He was very kind and the wine was delicious . We had a lovely afternoon here I would highly recommend!
We stayed at Quinta das Escomoeiras for three nights and wished we could have stayed longer. It is a perfect location that has seclusion and privacy, with wonderful track to walk along the river below. The service from Fernando was fantastic and we really appreciated the trouble he went to to ensure some belongings we missed were shipped to Lisbon on our behalf. We cannot thank him enough for this. Breakfast in the mornings is a delightful affair sitting outside and overlooking the valley below. We would definitely stay here again on a return visit.
