I stayed here for my entire stay in Madeira and I will think about it for the rest of my life it was so perfect. The entire home is so beautiful it feels like being in a countryside manner inside the city. Breakfast is very simple but very good with fresh foods and fruits from the garden. It was the best experience coming back there to relax from days out on the island. If you find it's available when planning your trip don't hesitate to book it.
Simply Awesome. The staff are amazing (we got welcomed by Rita and then Margarida). I enjoyed chatting to Margarida each morning while preparing breakfast for the baby. The gardens are very pretty, the view from the Quinta is lovely. We could get our laundry done (for 10€ wash&dryer). Our room was spacious and we even got a baby crib and a baby chair in the breakfast room. We had the opportunity to put some stuff in a small fridge. The Quinta is only 10-15min away from the city center, we usually walked down and one can take multiple buses on the way home, which stop nearby. Bus 26 stops directly in front of the Quinta. There’s also parking lots in front if the house itself. I would recommend any one to stay there, the island is relatively small and one can visit many places based on Funchal with rent a car for example.
We didn’t stay at the Quinta but did the wine tour and it was AMAZING! Emily was amazing, very knowledgeable and passionate. The wine is out of this world. Location is beautiful and you can see the attention to details.
