Beautiful warm amazing place! The breakfast was tasty (the marmelade tasted so good like it is made with love by gradma), the rooms are cozy, the house is clean, there is a gaming room with billard/boardgames/books and a bar. Very calm and quite - perfect to escape the big city. We were even fortunate to try the portwine of the landord. There is a great restaurant in the near and a small village only 5min by car. Definitely recommend
Warm and friendly staff in a setting that is just beautiful made the one night we were there one of the most enjoyable hotel stays my wife and I have ever had. The rooms are good size and very comfortable while the grounds are just amazing. They provided a good breakfast to start the day and were grateful for their honor bar system which allowed us to have a bottle of wine and pay for it later. This allows us not to have to leave the hotel which due to its location up on a hill is a good thing.
