Quinta de Castelhão

We lived 2 excellent weeks in Paradise. Everything was perfect for us, even if they are just in the beginning of their activity, the potential is just crazy! Before getting in Barcelos, I was like "what the hell are we gonna do at this lost place", the surprise was beyond my expectations, this paradise is a beautiful and calm location. The main city of Barcelos is 7 min from the hotel. We had a special crush for the family atmosphere. Everything was so fluid and natural. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers. If you are curious and adventurous like me, you will see various specimen of lemon trees, avocado, blackberries, pepper, tomato and other veggies. If you are lucky enough, our grandma ( yes, she’s definitely our grandma! ^^) will let you visit her poultry. The Quinta is so big, in the future, depending on your business model, you could even introduce a kind of educational farm, I know that this is something which is extremely appreciated by the kids and even the big kids like us =D, we love to stay connected to earth. We appreciated the fresh eggs from the poultry deliciously cooked for the breakfast. We have been honored to receive a Piri-Piri made by Grandma with the citrus and pepper from the Quinta, this Hello is just priceless ! Thank you very much for kindness, your recommendations for the restaurants in Barcelos and your hospitality. We are impatient to come back!

After a week of sightseeing, this was an oasis of rest! Lovely people and a beautiful location.
