What a gem! Booking last minute, we weren't expecting to find such a well appointed and cosy suite, all to ourselves. Passing through Santo Estêvão, the quiet stone built annexe of Quinta Santa Isabel is tucked away by the church of Igreja Matriz de Santo Estevão. Open log fire in the evenings, fresh baked bread on the door handle every morning. After dark you might require a head torch to find your front door and to access the car port, (where EV charging is available) but then switch off and marvel at the stars. Truly relaxing.
If you like to enjoy the sensation of going into the past is the perfect place for stay. Very friendly people.
The house is in a quiet and charming location, ideal for relaxing or enjoying nature. We felt right at home. Sinda was very attentive to us, and we hope to return soon.
