Great place to stay if you are crossing the border between Spain and Portugal. The reception lady at night was amazing. Great ranch style place to stay. Would definitely stay here again.
If you seek serenity and peace, then it’s the right place to visit. Waking up to the call of the donkey, telling you it’s soon morning, can have its charm. A nice but very old Quinta with lots of variety of activities. A hidden gem that gives you the opportunity to stargazing at night, experiencing how it was to live in an old mansion with chandeliers, huge mirrors and heavy curtains. Wonderful garden, with fountain, chapel, pond just waiting to be explored.
This property may have been 4 starts at one time, but certainly is not anymore. The property is run-down, although not dirty, clearly in need of much maintenance. The staff are friendly and helpful, but, if you're expecting a neat and tidy stay, you're likely to be disappointed. At best this property is 2 stars as it sits now.
