Easy going , quiet well situated in the middle of a village , 15mns from Tomar on bicycle, friendly atmosphere with friendly staff .

Este sítio tem um bom potencial só que acho que está sem cuidado, piscina verde, espreguiçadeiras partidas e nos quartos os beliches ranjem muito, o chuveiro funciona muito mal. O serviço era muito simpático e os cães tambem

Spent a night here when we needed to find a place between the river beaches and Tomar. Based on the reviews it seemed like a nice spot, but sadly we were treated to a tiny room where the sink and shower did not work properly. The sink had only a dribble of hot water and the shower spout did not have a holder that worked so you had to hold it to get water on yourself. Also, the room was so small that there was no space to open your bag (we had to put ours in the closet) and the “nightstands” were nothing more than wine crates turned on their sides, the gaps between the wood were big and the box itself was so unsteady that we were afraid to set anything on them. Also, the windows face the street so there’s noise from the cars and a church nearby that does lots of bell ringing. I can understand why families like this place, there’s lots of common area for playing and staff treats the families very well. We saw this at breakfast when they brought out special dishes for the families, but only offered us eggs. Also, apparently you can use a refrigerator in the meal room, which we were not informed of. Service and the rooms needs to be improved. When we checked out we mentioned that the sink wasn’t working properly. The woman noted it and only after paying asked if everything else was ok. It wasn’t and we told her about the shower. She noted this but didn’t seem interested at all in making it better or offering us anything for a terrible stay. Next time we’ll stay at a proper hotel in Tomar.
