Another interesting and relaxing stay in the Casa. Rick and Ish are top hosts and really looked after us. There is a lot to see locally on foot, including a Roman bridge and Roman road, original surfaces still in use. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool, on the Casa's terrace, beers at sunset sitting on the rock by the pizza oven, and visiting local (walkable) restaurants. Our motorbikes were put into a barn for shelter when not being used to explore the amazing Serra da Estrela roads which take you up to 2000 meters above sea level. We will be back!
A superb 5 night stay Sept 2024 as part of a motorcycle tour. Perfect hosts, lovely accommodation & surroundings with the Serra de Estrela mountains & exciting roads minutes away. Peaceful charm & relaxing character with a fabulous private pool. Recommended without reservation - Well done Ish & Rick!
A little hard to get there, but when there, what a great surprise. Nice and kind people living there!
