If you love the quietness of nature, then this is something for you. Splendid view over the valley from your room, very nice and helpful people, tasteful restaurant based on products that they grow and breed, possibilities to hike. Wish we could have stayed longer.
The Quinta do Freixo is a really cute hideaway in the mountain area near Albufeira. The owner aswell as the manager are really friendly and nice and the staff has the same outstanding friendly attitude. The local grown fruits are very delicious and the food they serve is definetly top tier. It is situated really lovely and gives a cozy feeling.
Beautiful and calm location on a family run farm with excellent locally sourced food and friendly people. The owner gave us a tour of his farm with a tractor. He was so knowledgeable, fun and engaging that my husband forgot to check the cricket scores for 3 hours!!! Barely ever have I seen this happen...
