This hotel offers grand accomodation in a grand setting for an acceptably reasonable price. The staff are friendly, bi-lingual and are happy to provide assistance with everything even for clients who are ill. My wife for example was ill during our stay and the staff were very kind and loving to her - they brought tea and ensured that if she needed medical assistance that they were there to help her. Our room was very spacious, clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was incredible and was honestly one of the best I have ever seen in a hotel - Dubai 5 star standard throughout. My only complaint would be that the outside area at the front is made cheap by having loud American music playing and with television screens which don't match the music... We asked to have them turned off but were told that 'it is part of their service'... In my opinion this 'service' is just tacky and annoying. The bar was also closed meaning that if you wanted a drink you had to take this inside the lobby or at the front of the hotel. This is unacceptable for a 5 star hotel. One expects to be able to use all of the facilities, including the bar... This is basic. Overall the hotel is wonderful but it would have been great to make use of more of their facilities.

The room is very nice, and the hotel is beautiful. The breakfast is good and reasonably priced. The gym was not in service during my stay, the bathroom tub is difficult to get in and out of because of the way that it is in its own little room, and the electrical setup of the room is weird and difficult to operate (lights are on when you want them off, certain switches control whole rooms, etc.), But it was a very nice hotel and overall a good stay. I'd definitely stay here again even with the small annoyances listed. Highly recommend.

The rooms are huge and very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The shower had good water pressure. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated though a bit dated. Service at the front desk was a bit gruff. The restaurant was very expensive for incredibly low-quality cooked food (small portions and just not well cooked at all). Take the 5-10 minutes to the food truck park next door.
