Quinta Tagus

We stayed at this villa for our honeymoon, and it was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, everything felt like a dream. The space was private, peaceful, and beautifully designed—exactly what we needed after all the wedding excitement. 🌿💍 Waking up to the sound of nature, enjoying coffee with a view, and having our own little slice of paradise made this trip unforgettable. Every detail was thoughtfully curated—from the cozy interiors to the romantic ambiance. The staff was also amazing—warm, helpful, and always respectful of our privacy. We felt truly cared for, which made the experience even more special.

I feel so badly that it's been over a year that I've been meaning to leave a review for this gem! After a major hotel group (Pestana) canceled our reservation that we had made 9 months prior 13 days before our trip (pretty sure they gave it to some Swifties), we were scrambling to find a new place. Enter Quinta do Tagus, where we booked the Panorama room at a ridiculously reasonable price. From there, everything about this place exceeded our expectations. The property was beautiful, the views were exceptional, the food was amazing, and everyone who works here was so friendly and helpful. At dinner on our first night, our waiter (whose name I desperately wish I could remember. George?) told us about the easiest way to get to Lisbon. If you have a car, you drive to the ferry a few miles away and it drops you off super close to some great tourist attractions. My husband and I still rave about how incredibly lucky we felt to have found this place.

The view of Lisbon across the Tagus River from the property was stunning. The food at the restaurant was high-quality and well-presented. We enjoyed interacting with the staff, who were very accommodating, particularly the server at the restaurant during dinner and Pedro, the afternoon/evening manager. It was an easy drive to the airport to fly out on a Saturday morning, and since we left before they served breakfast, they provided us with to-go boxes the night before. The only two very minor detractors are that the rooms are not very soundproof (we heard the comings and goings of our neighbors, as they probably did us) and the property is not particularly walkable from the town. However, that being said, we would definitely consider staying there again either on the way into or on the way out of Lisboa.
