Quintal do Castelo was a lovely experience all round. We loved our appartment and the fabulous garden. It was a great location to enjoy Silves and have a base to travel around the locality. It was also really relaxing to chill out on the terrace or down by the pool. Our hostess, Nicolaine, made sure we had everything we needed and we were sad to leave but hopefully we will be back again.
A gem in the oldest city in the Algarve. The garden with swimming pool, BBQ and orange trees is beautiful! We stayed in the yellow house (casa amarela), which is fully equipped and suitable for a family of 4. Spacious and very complete. Especially the kitchen. From the house you can walk straight into the beautiful cozy streets of Silves with restaurants, the cathedral and the castle.
Hello, we stayed in the blue apartment at the end of July. Unfortunately it has to be said that the apartment is a bit old. The kitchen in particular needs to be renovated 😒. In the yellow and red apartments, the kitchens and equipment are much better and up to date. The pool in the garden is well maintained and was checked twice a week 👍. A nurturing hand needs to be applied again in the garden. Overall, our stay for 1 1/2 weeks was very pleasant. The location is ideal in town. The coast can also be easily reached and explored by car. Overall, the system is recommended.
