We have been to Funchal 4 times and this is the first time in this hotel. Firstly I have to compliment the staff who were the friendliest we have ever experienced in a hotel. Lots of help and advice in the hotel on where to go and how to get there in Maderia. Spa was good although you do have to book. Room was lovely with great views of the sea and mountains. It's well located near to the centre, about 15 minutes walk. Breakfast was really good quality with a great selection. We ate in the hotel once which was good and they do cater for vegetarians. Thank you all at the hotel for a great and very relaxing week.
First time in Maderia and how lucky we were to stay here. Room was lovely, balcony over the beautiful garden. We really enjoyed the outside pool, there is an inside one too which we used as it was on our floor. Breakfast was a treat, enjoyed the specialities. All the staff were friendly and obliging. It's hard to explain how tranquil this hotel is, it has a special feel about it, we hope to get back to Maderia and hope this hotel is available.
The quality of the food and the service was amazing! The facilities and rooms of the hotel are okay. Of good quality but not overwhelming. Thanks especially to Ana, Alexandre and Celso and many others of the staff for the accommodating service!
