Rachamankha Hotel

I have been there to pick up my tourists so no comment on the room. The hotel is very calm and luxury in Lanna style. Staff is kind and provide a nice hospitality and service. Well located in the old city of Chiang Mai.

This hotel is incredible! The grounds are stunning and the staff could not be nicer or more helpful. We also really enjoyed the beautiful hotel restaurant — there was lovely live music being played during dinner. Hoping I get to come back someday!

A quiet oasis in the heart of the old city, within walking distance of the famous Chiang Mai walking street on a Sunday evening. All is calm and hushed, and there’s an abundance of art and antiques scattered around the grounds. This extends to the rooms, with tall ceilings and interesting books on the desk to browse through. However, the air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool enough, and a good night’s sleep was further banished by nightly bites from mosquitoes in the room despite the hotel providing insect repellent. On closer inspection, there were gaps around the antique doors into the room so there was never any hope of keeping them out. It got to the point I was getting anxious about going to bed. There were also a lot of mosquitoes around the pool area. Service is polite and accommodating, although occasionally difficult to find around the pool area. Service in the restaurant was equally good. There’s a lot to like at Rachamankha, but the mosquito situation with the room would make me hesitate to return.
