Raciti Palace

A unique and fascinating accommodation in the very city center of Acireale that combines authentic historic experience with comfortable and convenient stay. Before arriving we consulted the property's webpage, which contains all important information about the accommodation and the city itself. We parked our car in a nearby paid parking place close to Piazza Cappuccini ~350m away. Upon our arrival we were offered a small guided tour by our kind and attentive host Jojo through the meticulously renovated wing of the palace containing an incredible collection of vintage artifacts. We also appreciated all the interesting historical facts about the palace and Acireale. We were also very grateful that our room was made available to us way before the check-in time. The room we stayed in was clean and well maintained, with a fully equipped kitchen including a coffee machine and complementary tea and coffee. The furnishing looked like new and despite seemingly comprising a mix of styles it did fit the overall character and setting of the property. The classically elegant rooftop terrace offered fantastic views of Acireale and, if the weather petmits, a great opportunity to lie down on one of the sunbeds and relax for a while. Overall, the value for money was great and we really enjoyed our brief but pleasant stay in Raciti Palace.
