Radisson Hotel Review I recently stayed at the Radisson and found it to be a charming, if somewhat dated, hotel with a fantastic location. The hotel is older, which gives it a certain classic European vibe, but this also means the single rooms are quite small by modern standards. Despite the compact size, my room was well-maintained, clean, and nicely appointed, making it a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. One downside was the lack of air conditioning, which could be uncomfortable during warmer weather. The elevator is also quite small, so be prepared for a snug ride if you’re traveling with luggage or others. Parking is limited, with only about 10 spots available directly at the hotel. However, there’s a parking garage just a two-minute walk away, which was convenient and easy to access. The standout feature of this Radisson is its prime location, just steps from the city center. It’s incredibly walkable to restaurants, and shops. Overall, if you’re looking for a centrally located hotel and don’t mind a few older amenities, this Radisson is a solid choice. Just pack light and be ready for a bit of old-world charm!
I really wanted to like this hotel, because I love hotels with beautiful old premises. The first encounter with the staff at check in was not very convincing. There was a room upgrade in the package that we bought, but it wasnt given to us until I asked about the room type specifically. Finally, the room was spacious but in such a beautiful historical surroundings, some really weird furnishing choices were made. Some of the art and furniture in the room felt totally out of place and left me wondering if any thought was put into making the aesthetics harmonious, respecting the history of the building. Breakfast place was beautiful, only few vegan options.
Beautiful exterior and dining hall. Great location, with public city bike station across the road. We have been wanting to stay at this hotel for a while. The service at the front desk was not very welcoming and gave us the wrong room. We booked an upgraded room but they forgot to upgrade us until we reminded them. The superior room’s interior design was underwhelming as it didn’t carry the same atmosphere as the entrance/exterior. The mix of modern furnishing was not well thought out, layout felt awkward and paintings random. When we checked out, the person at the desk didn’t even make eye contact. How awkward.
