Radisson Blu Hotel Ankara

“I don’t recommend ” I booked a room with breakfast through Agoda and paid accordingly. However, upon arrival at the Radisson Blu Hotel, I was informed that the reservation did not include breakfast. The hotel charged $20 per person for breakfast, while the price difference through Agoda was only $3.5 per person. I raised a dispute with both Agoda and the hotel, but unfortunately, both parties rejected my claim and insisted that breakfast was not part of the booking. However, the reception staff were inflexible and lacked professionalism. The hotel has a good location with pleasant garden views. The room was clean, well-equipped, and the air conditioning worked properly. The bathroom had an outdated design and was not particularly comfortable. Basic amenities like toothbrushes and shaving kits were not provided unless specifically requested. The mattress wasn’t comfortable and needs to be replaced. Overall, the hotel might be suitable for a short stay, but I wouldn’t recommend it for longer visits. Both Agoda and the hotel’s customer service were disappointing and showed little regard for guest concerns. I ended up booking an additional night with breakfast to further assess the service, as I plan to visit Ankara frequently in the future. الموقع ممتاز لكن الموظفين يفتقدوا للمرونه.

The hotel appears to be a bit old and the interior is a bit outdated. The ceiling even had a crack and the bathroom had a cracked washbasin. The location is the best part. If you get a park view room, nothing like that. We had booked a family suite room, and the room was spacious. It had two balconies with good views. The television is not a smart TV and that leaves you with only Turkish channels and just a couple of international channels like BBC world to watch. Ordered food and that was a disaster. The Turkish manti (a kind of ravioli or dumplings) was surely prepared using a frozen product and it was not well prepared. Quantity was really good though. Breakfast was really good and the spread was impressive. Front desk people are very professional and friendly.

We recently stayed at this hotel for two nights. We requested a non-smoking room, but our room wreeked of smoke. The room had old carpet, which was truly disgusting and smelly. We had to sleep with the balcony doors open at night due to the smoke smell in the room. Breakfast staff was very unresponsive when we pointed out that all their hot items had meat, diary or eggs. They actually walked away from us and didn't care in the slightest. The hotel has a great location but I definitely wouldn't be back unless they completed a serious remodel and made the entire hotel NON-SMOKING.
