I had a great stay at this hotel and will definitely return next time! The room was spacious and very modern, with a large terrace that adds to the comfort. The staff was friendly, and everything was perfectly clean. The mattress was very comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. On the downside, I missed having a bathrobe and slippers, which would have added to the overall experience. As for the location, it is slightly on the outskirts of the city, but at just 2.5 km away, it’s still within nice walking distance (about 30 minutes). Overall, a fantastic stay with excellent amenities, cleanliness, and comfort. Highly recommended!
I had a wonderful stay at Radisson Blu. Without any request, the hotel kindly upgraded me to a spacious junior suite, which was a delightful surprise. The front desk staff were sincerely kind and attentive, making the check-in process smooth and welcoming. The room was modern, very spacious, and featured comfortable beds that ensured a great night's sleep. I especially enjoyed the terrace, which offered a lovely view and a perfect place to relax. The breakfast menu was exceptionally good compared to other hotels in northern Italy, with a wide variety of delicious options that made each morning a real pleasure. I highly recommend Radisson Blu Bergamo for anyone visiting the city, whether for business or leisure, thanks to its great service, comfort, and beautiful setting.
The hotel is modern and architecturally impressive, with clean lines and a fresh design concept. However, a few things didn’t quite live up to expectations. The gym is surprisingly small considering the size and category of the hotel – functional, but not enough for a hotel of this scale. The location is a bit far from the city center, but that’s not necessarily a downside: it’s actually a pleasant 18-minute walk along the cycle path to the old town. The biggest issue for me was the breakfast. I understand breakfast can be hit-or-miss in Italy, but here the quality felt inconsistent. Staff occasionally handled food directly with their hands when rearranging items – for example, switching out strawberries. Gloves or tongs would have been more appropriate, especially in a hotel of this class. Allergy labelling and food separation also seemed unclear, which could be problematic for sensitive guests. Staff at the front desk and around the hotel were kind and helpful. However, despite our VIP status, we didn’t receive a room upgrade – we were placed in a designated dog-friendly room. While it was clean and equipped with bowls (which we appreciated), it felt quite sterile. The idea of offering dog food is well-meaning, but most dog owners bring their own due to strict diets. Likewise, the dog beds provided are rarely used, as most bring their own. One disappointing moment: I asked if a staff member could check in on our dogs while we were out for an appointment. The request was politely declined – but this is exactly the kind of service I would expect from a truly pet-friendly hotel. Overall: a stylish stay with potential, but a few details – especially breakfast hygiene and more thoughtful pet services – need improvement to match the brand standard and price level.
