Radisson Blu Hotel Cork

I booked a suite for my family 2+2. The room was excellent and clean. The room was available exactly at 4pm for check in time. Happy with the receptionist as they were welcoming from start to end. Smooth check in and check out process Swiming pool in was well maintained and kids enjoyed it to the core. Breakfast was yummy though it missed the hash brown. Had wide variety of hot and cold foods. Automatic pan cake machine was a bit let down as it cooked only 70 p.c of pancake otherwise the bfast was worth it. Recommended

Lovely hotel overall. Very friendly staff. Lovely, clean spacious rooms. It can be very warm in the room so you would need to open the windows and some outside noise from traffic. It's walkable to a retail park too. Otherwise a great hotel

First and foremost, the location is awful. A mere 10 minute stroll to public transportation is a little misrepresented. It's a long walk along a driveway to a highway you will walk on the side of, then cross the light at the highway exit to get to public transport. This will be a train station that still really doesn't get you in downtown Cork. There is nothing really near the hotel in walking distance. The staff was nice, but they were short staffed which made checkout a long process, especially on a Saturday. Express checkout of course was unavailable. The room was decent but lacked a refrigerator and had torn curtains that appeared to be there for many years. The gym was not maintained. I don't understand how they could sell memberships to it. Overall, not Radisson quality and we let the name sell us.
