Really impressed with this Radisson. The hotel feels clean, modern, and well-kept. Our room was immaculate and very comfortable. What truly stood out was the service — the staff were so helpful and genuinely friendly throughout our stay. A special mention goes to Christos, who made our mealtime extra special and went above and beyond to look after our children. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he really made us feel welcome. We’ll definitely be using this hotel again when flying from East Midlands. Highly recommended.
Tanya was super friendly, personal and helpful upon checking in and was really kind in upgrading our room for us. She remembered us when we checked out and asked how our stay was, she really went above and beyond and made our experience wonderful. The room was lovely and quiet, no noise from the airport whatsoever. Room was cleaned every day with fresh towels. Lovely swimming pool and spa. Car parking was an issue as there aren’t clear spaces in the car park and we were worried about our car being scratched due to people making their own spaces or parking too close.
Nice hotel near the airport. If staying at the hotel it’s £8 per night parking and £30 (doesn’t seem to be mentioned on their app or website) if you bring your dog. If you enjoy plane spotting get a higher floor runway view room. There’s a gym/pool/steam room/sauna. There’s also a jogging trail around the airport perimeter which is around 6 miles. Rooms are a nice size and clean. I enjoyed the bed as comfy. I believe they have special parking packages if you are using the airport. The bathroom has little windows that look through to the bedroom but couldn’t find anyway of blocking these (some hotels have buttons that blur the glass). Rooms are very well soundproofed so that you can’t hear the aircraft. If I could improve anything I’d maybe suggest having a tick box or something on the website/app to let them know you’re bringing your dog as when I turned up they didn’t know I was (I had written this on the special request section of the app when booking). It wasn’t a problem though and they gave me a nice room looking at the runway (I enjoy watching planes). Also the lifts and maybe the carpets in the corridors could do with a refresh. Would definitely recommend though and stay again. I paid £62 (£86 including breakfast for two on a Sunday night) so pretty good value.
