I had a great experience with the reception team during my stay. My original room didn’t quite meet my expectations, so I spoke to reception at the front desk. Receptionist Haseena was extremely helpful and kind she personally assisted me in changing the room and made sure I was comfortable. On top of that, she recommended some excellent Indian restaurants nearby, which I really appreciated. I was very happy with the service. All the reception staff were professional and welcoming. Thank you for making my stay better!
Disappointing hotel. Rundown, common areas need renovations. Carpet in hallways is an eyesore and a safety hazard. Staff was friendly and accommodating but not skilled. Terrible air freshener smell overpowering in elevator area. Only one of 2 small elevators in service for entire 5 nights. Stairway also closed due to renovations. Lighting in bathroom very dim. Ant problem in first room before they moved us. Garbage left in hallways overnight. Decent location and comfortable beds. Would not stay here again.
A high of 32 degrees in London today, and as you can see in another review, the air con in their rooms is clearly faulty. 2 of my 4 colleagues staying here have had the same issue. Attempted to use the phone to call reception - the phone in the room does not work. I’m now writing this review at 12:45am after being told there’s nothing they can do and they have no additional rooms. Not only does the air con not work, but I believe there is some electrical fault in the room as there is a burnt smell throughout, as if there’s an error with the electrical wiring. It does not feel safe at all. Upon asking for a fan at the very least, I was told there are none in the hotel. £260 a night for this level of service… I am now sitting in this extremely hot room unable to sleep, with a lingering burning smell, windows wide open only to be blasted with the street noise. How Radisson thinks is acceptable on any level is frankly absurd. I can’t recommend you avoid this hotel enough. Steer clear, save your money. Looking at other reviews I expect to be offered ‘10% off a stay’ tomorrow morning, but I will update my review once I’ve heard more.
