Radisson Blu Hotel Manchester Airport

Really convenient location, nice rooms, huge breakfast variety. Really enjoyed staying here. Breakfast was the best I've seen on my 2 week trip to multiple hotels all over the UK and Europe. Employees were really nice. Didn't hear any airport noise at all. Highly recommended!

This hotel is very convenient for the airport, which was the main reason we chose it. However, there were a few minor frustrations during our stay. Although we checked in online in advance, it still took longer than expected to collect our room key at reception. Once in the room, we found the refrigerator had been switched off at the wall, so it took a couple of hours to cool down. The bath/shower also felt dated and could use an upgrade. The ice machine on our floor was out of order, so we had to go four floors up to use another one. Unfortunately, there were no ice buckets available either in the room or at the machine, which made it inconvenient. Overall, while the location is great for airport access, the experience could be improved with better attention to basic amenities and maintenance.

We got a parking fine notice 3 weeks after we got back. We used the Park, Dream, Fly package where you leave your car with the hotel. It was easy enough but about 3 weeks after returning we got a fine reminder through the post. We didn't get any previous notification. The fine was for the day before we got back when they returned the car to the hotel car park. I called Radisson and then got passed around. I had to send the hotel reception a copy of the notice and then they say they have cancelled it. I asked for some money back because it was advertised as convenient, but getting a parking fine and chasing up the hotel is a stress and took quite some time. They have just ignored the request.
