Radisson Blu Hotel Nantes

I stayed at this hotel for 5 days for a conference. I must give a lot of praise to the staff, especially the front desk, who were extremely friendly and made us feel at home. Although we were not able to get an upgrade (as radisson VIP) due to the hotel being very busy, the friendly staff made up for it. The friendliness of the staff deserves extra praise, especially when we were treated rudely at another hotel in the radisson group (Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam). The hotel is a little dated inside and is under renovation, lacking facilities such as a gym, but I expect these issues will be addressed once the renovation is completed. I will still choose this hotel when visiting Nantes again.

Beautifull building from outside and inside, but rooms need to fresh up a bit. Furniture is damaged and saw better days. No gym, no activity of so ever for 4* hotel. Location is very good. In the city center. Garage outside of hotel in walking distance for fee.

Worst sleeping experience! Our tour group have a late check in and ALL OF US had been called up WRONG TIME by the morning call around 3.00-4.00 am (we booked around 10 rooms) in the morning with a real person call not automated calls. They called in French and English and told lies about the departure time, they wouldn’t hang up until I answer something. The real one was correctly call at 7.00 in the morning with the automated call. I don’t know why this was happened with this hotel but I expected something better than this. The lobby was so dimmed. The room was clean but also quite old and the rug is full of dust. My allergy flare up as soon as we stepped in. The hotel was currently under maintenance so they told us that’s why the weird call happening.
