Room was very outdated and never quite seemed fully clean. The outdoor patio was lovely to sit at during the day. The breakfast had plenty of options. Depending on who was working the front desk you got mixed service. About 15 to 20 minute walk across the bridge to get to Old Riga but had sidewalks the whole way making it safe and easy. Not a lot of options for restaurant or shops near the hotel.

This was an interesting experience for sure. The staff were super friendly and helpful so high regards to them! The room was very clean but it felt I stepped back into the 90s because it was very outdated. We stayed in 602.There were also stains on the box spring and the curtains (as well as a few holes). The hinge on the window was also loose. The room itself definitely needs a face life. I suggest staying on the other side of the river if you don’t want to walk over the bridge to get to the old town. The view from our room was amazing though!

Breakfast, the spa & wellness center, and parking are NOT included in the room price and come at an extra cost! 👎 In the same price range, you can find hotels that include at least breakfast and parking. We paid €229 for two nights in a Superior Room, including breakfast. At this price range, I’d expect at least breakfast or parking to be included, but instead, everything costs extra. For example, parking in the hotel yard for two nights cost €30, definitely not a minor fee. 👎 Even after paying over €200 for two nights, you still have to pay extra for: - Breakfast - Access to the spa and wellness center - Parking The hotel rooms themselves are clean and in good condition, as long as you get the room you actually paid for. We had booked and paid for a Superior Room but were first given a clearly smaller, downgraded room with no working air conditioning or refrigerator. Staff didn’t understand our complaint at first, but eventually, we were moved to the correct room. The duvet/blanket in the hotel room bed was far too thick, which made it extremely hot to sleep. As a result, the air conditioning had to be on full blast the entire time just to be able to sleep under the duvet/blanket... Customer service was extremely poor. When we tried to leave the hotel, the car park gate wouldn’t open. We tried both phone numbers provided by the hotel, but neither worked, they weren’t even connected: Number ending in 1101 And other one was 1111 We had to go to reception three separate times before someone helped us. Staff were uninterested and unhelpful. When I pointed out that the contact numbers didn’t work (even the one on their business card), they simply didn’t care. 👎 Very poor service. The actual Superior Room (once we got it) was spacious, had a nice view, a working fridge, air conditioning, a sofa, and good counter space. 👍 However, even though the room looked clean, the toilet had not been properly cleaned. 👎 Breakfast was surprisingly good, plentiful and with a nice variety of options! 👍 The rooms themselves are nice and have a good view, and the breakfast was solid. But due to the poor customer service, extra fees for basic amenities, and housekeeping issues, we will not return. The overall attitude from staff was that they simply didn’t care...
