We stayed for one night, and overall, the experience was satisfactory. Check-in was delayed due to limited staff availability. The room was acceptable. Upon arrival, we requested a breakfast box in advance because of our early flight, but it was not prepared when we checked out. We had to wait approximately 15 minutes before receiving the takeaway breakfast.
The room was very spacious and nice. However, the AC was terribly inadequate, but they promptly brought fans. Abdul Gaffar was manning the omelet bar in the morning and did a wonderful job. We really appreciated how pleasant he was as well.
My wife and I recently stayed for one night before our flight out of Zurich. We picked this location mainly because it's a short walk to both the train station and the airport, which made transportation really easy. The hotel itself was nice and well kept and the front desk staff greeting us was friendly & professional. Our room was clean & comfortable and we had a great dinner at the restaurant. The negative: We found out that the room was missing a hair dryer, which was just a small issue by itself. However, when my wife called front desk to request one, she was told one would be brought up, and it never came. She tried calling the front desk a few more times after a while and could not reach anyone anymore. The calls were either unanswered or picked up & immediately hang up. We're not sure if the front desk was too busy around 5-6pm (they only had a small two-person front desk, which seemed a bit understaffed for a hotel of this size - the self service stations only allow check out), or housekeeping forgot about the request. A missing hair dryer is not a big deal, but the fact that we couldn't even get help for such a small matter was disappointing. What if we had a bigger issue during our stay, do we have to jump through hoops to get it resolved as well? Even though we had mostly a good stay, we would be exploring other hotels in the area next time we're here, since we're not sure that we can count on staff's help if any problem arises.
