Radisson Blu Limfjord Hotel Aalborg

Location is an absolute 5 star, it does not get closer to the center of Aalborg. Be aware that the biggest party street in Aalborg is under 100m from the hotel. Rooms are average. The hotel gym is far below average. Breakfast is above average for a hotel in this pricerange. Very good selection.

Bad, we won‘t come again. - Some rooms are not renovated yet, outdated and run down. Moldy bathtub, soap dispenser falling, lamp glass falling. No sockets by the beds. - Room wasn‘t very clean. - City-facing rooms are extremely noisy, partying crowds and tuned cars. You shouldn‘t open the windows but they are so bad that even closed it‘s unbearable. - Bad breakfast, particularly the buffet size and arrangement when busy. - Bad beds. - Terrible curtains. Semi light blocking. Too dark for privacy during the day, too transparent to block daylight during the short summer nights. Be prepared to wake up at 4am!

The hotel has a good location. Reception staff are curteous, nice and polite. But there is an old guy who manages the restaurant/bar area that is SO rude. If you want to work in hospitality you need to have the right attitude. A younger girl came in to drop her resume and talked to a staff member. Eventually the old guy got handed the CV, made some rude comments, both started laughing and he just turned around, ripped the CV in pieces and threw it away.
