Overall, I’ve really enjoyed my stay here but would call it a 4 star hotel rather than 5. Room - comfortable, clean, modern, spacious - cleaned daily to a good standard. Pool - this was my favourite part. Great pool, loads of sunbeds available, helpful and mostly friendly staff (esp Hichem) Food - good mostly - wide variety at breakfast. Room service could sometimes be slow to answer - but once ordered, it came quickly and was tasty. Staff - hit and miss. Some were great, really helpful and friendly (pool and breakfast staff) Some were not - especially reception and some of the bar staff - definitely do not meet 5 star standards. Not many staff speak English.

I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel, and overall, I’m satisfied with my experience. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. The hotel features great bars with professional service and excellent cocktails, making evenings truly enjoyable. The location is convenient, and the large pool provides a perfect spot for relaxation. The entire place has a luxurious vibe, which adds to the appeal. The food is fresh and delicious, further enhancing the overall quality of the stay. However, the biggest downside is the restaurant service. Missing cutlery, difficulty in ordering drinks, and language barriers significantly affect the dining experience. At times, it was hard to find a free table because some were left uncleared. The most concerning issue occurred when spilled water on the slippery restaurant floor was left unattended for over half an hour, leading to a minor accident. In a five-star hotel, such things should not happen, which is why my rating is lower. To sum up, the hotel has many advantages, but the restaurant service definitely needs improvement.

What Happened to This Place? A Massive Decline Not Worth the Price Anymore I recently stayed again at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Djerba, Tunisia, and I honestly don’t know what happened. I had visited before and had a great experience, but this time was a complete letdown. The staff used to be welcoming and friendly, but now the majority seem cold and uninterested. You get the impression that they hate being there – no smiles, no greetings, no basic hospitality. It’s uncomfortable as a guest to feel like you’re being a burden just by asking a simple question. The buffet, which costs 80 dinars per person, is simply not worth it. The food is tasteless, repetitive, and lacks any real variety. It used to be a highlight of the stay – now it feels like a cafeteria with zero effort put into quality or presentation. The soirees and evening entertainment? Gone. The hotel feels dead – no music, no atmosphere, no events. You walk through the lobby or around the pool at night and it’s just… silence. It’s like staying in a ghost resort. Even the room service is a disaster. You call and no one answers. You keep trying and still nothing. It’s frustrating and unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed standard. Overall, this place has seriously gone downhill in just a few months. Unless major improvements are made, I would not recommend it to anyone. There are far better options in Djerba for the same price or less.
