Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Ljubljana

The hotel is located in a convenient area – not directly in the historic city center, but easily accessible by car or taxi. There's a shopping mall and several restaurants nearby, which is practical if you don’t want to go far. The room was clean, modern, and cozy. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom spacious, and everything felt well maintained. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere at night – despite the size of the hotel, it was peaceful in the room. Breakfast was varied, with both hot and cold options. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful, whether at the reception or in the restaurant. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. The only minor downside is the distance from the city center for those who prefer to walk. We were traveling with a three-year-old child, and each taxi ride to the center cost around €10. Overall, I rate the stay as very pleasant. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfortable and reliable accommodation in Ljubljana.

I stayed at the Radisson and had a mixed experience. Rooms: Comfortable, clean, and very well-maintained – no complaints here. Breakfast: Perfect with plenty of options to choose from – a highlight of my stay. Gym: Small but functional. I used it twice in the early morning, and it was never crowded. However, the customer service was extremely disappointing. Despite being a Premium member, I had a terrible experience with the reception. They never picked up the phone, and all requests made via the app were not considered. There was no special line for Premium/VIP members, and the only “perk” I got was free water. This was by far the worst Radisson hotel I’ve ever stayed at in terms of service. Nice rooms. But you can hear everything from the hallway and the surrounding rooms. And when the hotel decides to surround you with 4 rooms that have children running between them at 23:30 and make you feel bad about complaining about it, it is just not my choice. Extra: just went for breakfast. 60% were kids families by my estimation. This hotel at least in the summer seems to be a kids hotel. Would definitely go here with kids but maybe not ideal for everyone.
