Radisson Blu Resort Al Khobar Half Moon Bay

Giving an overall 5 stars PURELY and ONLY because of brother Ammar at the reception. His interaction from the first instance till the last was professional, transparent, humble and friendly, he made the entire experience bearable and enjoyable. Now for future customers: Location: Extremely far, good for spending all the time there, but if you want to go back and forth from the city during your stay, its really far, especially because there's no U-turn early on. Rooms: Extremely small, old rooms, not well managed, and old furniture. Cleanliness: Lobby, and reception area are gorgeous and perfect. Rooms are not clean, not very nice. My sink was clogged when i checked in so you can imagine. Food: did not try, cannot comment. Swimming pool: Male swimming pool was very nice. Activities: Private beach was very good, clean, and had activities (jet skies and boat ride), although a little expensive, but still, their availability there was great. To manage expectations, and to be fair, please remember, this is a RESORT, not a HOTEL, so the service level is not like a Hotel. The area (SQM) is huge, and its difficult to manage a resort as compared to a hotel, so i'll give them the benefit of doubt there. Excellent place if you're doing a "staycation" or planning to stay and spend all your time at the resort and enjoying all facilities. it'll be a little rough, not everything is 5 stars, but thats sometimes the fun.

The resort has changed little bit since our last visit 2 years back.. I have noticed some changes in the furniture in the reception area and the restaurant.. We booked two bedroom chalet which was very comfortable near the sea.. Each room has attached bathroom and TV. The living room contain dinning table. And sofa set and TV. There was a side kitchen with oven and stove and fridge. The bathroom needs little maintenance.. But overall the place was great.. I asked for late check out but they answered thats its not possible.. The swimming pool needs regular cleaning as there was insects and tree leaves.

Ive been coming to this place ever since it was called boudel, but when radisson took over, they almost changed nothing, and if they did, it wasnt for the better. Yes its a chill place but it does lack many facilities that make it a resort. Theres a huge place in the middle where its just debris left since boudel and theyve not made a use of it, it feels haunted. I wish theyd make use of this space and add some fitness spots like add tennis courts or anything else. Breakfast was alright, not extraordinary, but not worth waking up for it. No value for the money to be honest
