Radisson Blu Resort Wetland Park Wuxi

Ride about 30 minutes from wuxi airport to this hotel. The hotel was quite busy during our stay here. Checked in was easy and quick. The staffs at the front desk speaks perfect english (but apparently only some of them, but there have always been someone there that speaks good english at the front desk). Room was spacious, bed and pillow are comfy. Great amenities too. It is a very big hotel with beautiful chimese style garden. We wander around at night and explore some of the hotels corner. Gym was big, they have also big indoor pool. Breakfast is okay, a lot of food options, also a lot of local delicacies. Its rather confusing how to eat those local food, and the staffs at breakfast area didnt speak english as good as those in front desk, but they managed. There wasnt really anything nearby the hotel, cant even find a minimarket. I used taxi to go around, which fortunately is very affordable. Its very quite and tranquile, it really is a good place to spend a calm weekend.

Very nice hotel with comfortable beds and beautiful grounds. Great breakfast and super amazing service. The only complain that I have is that both rooms(we had 2) and the hallways smelled like cigarette smoke.

I stayed in this hotel for 9 days. They state if one has any specific dietary requirements then the same will be arranged for. First 2 days i faced problems but I came across the 'flowing water' restuarant's manager who helped to arrange to the extent he could. Few days I they served some dishes suggested by me but I could not get the actual taste not blaming them for this. The reason being they had never prepared one before and they did not have all the ingredients. This place is in middle of nowhere, so I cannot even find anything outside the hotel. I have to depend on the hotel totally. However, one fine morning I was allowed to instruct the chef to make what i wanted based on availabile ingredients. And it was made as what I expected. I have stayed in IHG, Marriott, Wyndham, Pullman hotels but here they have limited options available for vegetarians. The rooms are 'OK' whereas the water for bathing is hard water. Rooms and lobbies is filled with odour of smoked cigarettes.
