!overall its a Great hotel Everything is new, built for maximum comfort. The staff was very welcoming, and did their best to make our as pleasant as possible. A bit far from the center. But a short bus ride from the bus station and we got there. All and all great value for money! Most recommended.
The hotel is clean and pleasant, with good service and a fresh, modern design. Nice modern area with a lake, shops, restaurants. Despite the nearby construction, it was surprisingly quiet, which was a nice surprise. The room was clean and modern, but there were no bath accessories and slippers. However, the lack of free parking was quite disappointing. Typically, when booking a hotel outside the city center, you expect parking to be either free or reasonably priced. In this case, the underground parking cost was only slightly less than what you'd pay in central hotels. It would be great if the hotel management showed more flexibility and offered discounted parking for their guests - especially considering the ongoing construction around the hotel, which makes street parking even more difficult. Parking in front of the building - prohibited. Because of this, one of the main advantages of staying outside the city center - easier and cheaper parking - ends up being negated.
Very disappointing experience at Radisson Hotel Budapest BudaPart. First of all, when I checked in, I found a half-drunk bottle of Coke and a completely melted ice cream in the minibar. This clearly shows the room was not properly cleaned or checked before my arrival. I reported this to the front desk, but the staff simply expressed regret and told me that the housekeeping staff might have forgotten to clean the fridge — then casually suggested that I should throw it away myself. This level of service is completely unacceptable. Secondly, the bed linen was of very poor quality. The sheets were heavily pilled and rough, making it very uncomfortable to sleep on. This is far below what I would expect from a Radisson hotel. Lastly, I am a VIP member and should have received a room upgrade or some form of recognition. However, no upgrade or benefit was provided at all. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with my stay. The hotel failed to meet basic cleanliness standards, offered poor service, and ignored loyalty member benefits. I cannot recommend this hotel and hope the management takes this seriously.
