Radisson Hotel Colonia del Sacramento

The infinity pool got me! That they have an outdoor, indoor & hot tub! lovely staff. breakfast buffet was delicious and great view of the river. rooms could use an update, pools are nice, sauna lovely (would be good to have a cold shower close)

Radisson brand is a farce - doesn’t seem to be associated with the international chain at all. Perhaps they once were? Facilities and rooms are run down and stuck in the 1970s. Don’t bother with the massage, gym or sauna - all in a dingy basement and poorly maintained. On the up side, rooms are generally clean, service is friendly and views are good. Decent continental breakfast spread and a great location - walkable to train station, port and old town. If it wasn’t for the pool and location this place would be nothing more than a domestic 3 star hotel. Photos of the hotel only show the surface not the unmaintained detail such as cracked and missing pool tiles, warping boardwalks and broken room fixtures. I’d probably up my review of this place to three stars if it wasn’t pretending to be something it’s not (eg: a Radisson).

I don't know who grade this hotel as 5 starts but it's far away from that. If I knew this is what I'm gonna get I would have have just go to colonia for a day trip instead of staying there for 2 night . Really old hotel and old furniture's. Bad smell everywhere and carpets are extremely dirty. Even the breakfast erea didn't seem clean so we skiped it . Wettnes and rust everywhere and water at the pool were literally green so no way I would have put myself at risk and go in there. Overall was a waste of money . I personally would recommend to avoid. You'll probably gonna get the same conditions in a hostel
