Very enjoyable stay, well positioned with U2 and U4 lines at the door. Beds are comfortable and breakfast was both tasty and plentiful. Only negative is food was not available in the rooftop terrace bar on a Sunday or Monday
We had a great stay at Radisson RED Vienna. The room was medium-sized, with very comfortable beds and pillows, stylish artwork on the walls, and a beautifully designed bathroom. Although the windows didn’t open, the wide windowsill had special cushions, making it a cozy spot to relax. The security in the hotel was excellent — access to the elevator and stairwells is only possible with a room key card, which made us feel safe and well-protected. The location is fantastic: just a 1-minute walk to the Danube Canal, and only 10 seconds to the elevator that takes you directly to the U2 and U4 metro lines, making it super convenient to get around the city. We also appreciated the option to request eco-friendly room cleaning, a thoughtful and sustainable initiative. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. A special thanks to David from Gran Canaria, who shared insights about Vienna and explained how safe the city is compared to other European capitals. His kindness and conversation added a personal touch to our stay. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable, secure, and enjoyable stay in Vienna!
I stayed here for 7 nights in a courtyard-view room. Overall, I found this to be a good hotel; however, it is overpriced for the service provided. My rating is mostly because of the high price (compared to the service) and cons. Pros: 1) As per my experience the behaviour and attitude of all staff were good, especially in the breakfast area. 2) The location is great. The U2 and U4 line station is just outside of the hotel door. 3) Good rooftop bar 4) Accommodating to 30 min late check out 5) Allowed 30 min late check out Cons: 1) Room partitions are very thin and sometimes disturbing to hear conversations or noise from other room 2) Despite the understanding of courtyard room booking, the reality was no view except a view of the mural and other room windows. 3) There are no variations in the breakfast. I have seen the same breakfast menu across 7 days. This is very boring for a long stay like 7 days. 4) The bathroom size is very small and without proper glass doors/curtains. Perhaps in the name of sustainability, they refill the soaps only once during the stay 5) On a couple of occasions, I found dusty floors even after housekeeping 6) I found holes in the window side cushion, indicating lack of repair and poor quality 7) There was no English TV channel except BBC news 8) The reception staff mentioned free priority membership due to the 7-day stay and promised to send an email. However, despite a few follow-ups during my stay, they never sent any emails. When I tried using their site, it showed an error indicating the hotel did not create/activate any such membership they mentioned during check-in. It's okay as I did not book directly with their website, but they should not mislead someone.
