Nice hotel to escape the hustle and bustle of the city! All rooms had an excellent view of the ocean! The breakfast was varied and the breakfast room was large so there was plenty of seating. The swimming pool was warm and towels were provided. The food from the restaurant was delicious and delivered straight to the balcony table! The room was well equipped although the finish of the rooms could be improved when compared to other Radisson hotels.
We had a mixed experience at the Radisson. On the plus side, there was lots for the kids to do, and we really appreciated the free upgrade when we arrived—it was a lovely welcome. Both rooms we stayed in had fantastic views and were comfortable enough for our family. Unfortunately, we had to move rooms mid-stay due to an AC issue, but the staff handled it quickly and professionally. The hotel itself is a bit worn and in need of some maintenance—the rooms has issues such as leaking AC, broken light switches, and worn tiles in the bathroom. The swimming pool had some broken tiles too, which seemed like a bit of a safety concern. During the week, the bar and restaurant weren’t fully stocked, and it felt like many services only ran properly on weekends. We found better value food and drink just outside the hotel, as the hotel menu was quite overpriced. With some updates and more consistent service, this could be a much better all-round experience
The check-in process took over 90 minutes as my reservation couldn’t be found. I was repeatedly asked to pay for Breakfast. A quick look into the system would have shown that I’m a Rewards Member and breakfast is included. Unfortunately, the next morning, the same issue arose and again took an additional 15 minutes to clarify. The condition of the room and facilities was disappointing. The property feels outdated and worn down. Internet speed was just about usable. The gym equipment was heavily worn and, more importantly, several windows can be opened with a drop of over 5 meters without any form of safety barrier — a serious hazard! Despite the bad condition of the Bathroom itself, the shower barely worked and the socket for the hairdryer required constant pressure to stay connected. Seriously, how is able to wash their hands with this kind of faucet? The balcony door had a gap of over a centimeter, letting in insects or possibly even small animals. When I tried to order food at the pool, there was no service at all. I checked at the upstairs restaurant, where I was told the staff would be available downstairs, but no one ever appeared. After over an hour of waiting, I gave up and ordered food externally. The most shocking part of the pool area is the danger coming from the broken tiles. I wouldn’t let my kids play there… Additionally, it’s worth noting that the hotel is quite remote, with no access to Grab or other ride-hailing services in the area. For airport transfers, guests are left with a limited option: an overpriced 9-seater shuttle service that, frankly, does not meet basic safety or cleanliness standards. This stay fell short of expectations in many ways, and while I wasn’t planning on leaving a review, the lack of attention to basic service — and the fact that I had to chase my reward points manually afterwards — made it necessary to speak up. That said, the lobby itself is modern and inviting, and the staff assisting with luggage were very friendly and engaged. There is also a small to-go shop next to the lobby with reasonable prices — which is helpful, as there are no supermarkets or convenience stores nearby. Overall, the hotel seems to cater more toward a local clientele which is totally fine as the price per night was acceptable. Kind Regards
