Raeli Hotel Lux

My partner and I booked this hotel for our anniversary trip as it was a great price, we saw a lot of horrible reviews afterwards and tried to cancel but it was non refundable and I’ve got to say we had a fantastic time! The staff are so kind, the beds were comfortable, room and bathroom spotless, the decor is old but it’s clean and authentic. He bought me flowers for our anniversary and I left them on the chair, when I came back to the room the room had been cleaned and they put my flowers in a bucket of water up nicely on the table! I will definitely be back!

Very well placed hotel, just 10 minutes walk from the train station. Close to the metro, buses, restaurants... great location! Good service. OK breakfast, not a big thing. My room was small, but I saw other larger rooms.

It's not a 4-star hotel. Negative points: Very small rooms, very old decor, the paint on the walls looks bad, especially in the bathroom. In the first room they put us in, the door was crooked at the bottom, which meant that there was a large gap opening into the room. The fridge didn't work. Positive points: Clean, very helpful staff, nice breakfast (could have had more fruit), possibility to store suitcases. When we complained about the problem of the door having a crack underneath, they promptly changed our room. The location, close to Termini station, is good because you can walk to the main attractions or it's close to the metro, however, I don't recommend going in front of the station late at night, there are several homeless people.
