My stay at Raga on the Ganges was truly a memorable and serene experience. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that made me feel right at home. The location is absolutely stunning — nestled by the sacred river Ganges, the views were breathtaking, and waking up to the gentle sounds of the flowing river was incredibly peaceful. The ambiance of the property beautifully blends traditional Indian aesthetics with modern comfort, creating a perfect retreat for relaxation and spiritual rejuvenation. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with attention to detail. One of the highlights was the exceptional service — every staff member was attentive, kind, and eager to assist with a smile. The food was delightful, featuring authentic local flavors prepared with fresh ingredients, and I especially enjoyed the Ayurvedic meals offered. Our stay at Raga on the Ganges was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm hospitality and the energy of the staff. Everyone was extremely polite, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure our comfort. I have a few food allergies, including an allergy to tomatoes, and when I brought this to the attention of the manager, they took immediate care to prepare separate meals for me—without any extra charges. This level of personalized attention truly stood out and was deeply appreciated. We had booked the Ganga Suite, and it was fantastic—spacious, well-appointed, and with breathtaking views of the river and surrounding nature. Waking up to such a serene landscape was a highlight in itself. We also participated in the Ganga Aarti arranged by the resort, which was a spiritual and calming experience. Additionally, the complimentary 2 km morning trek to a scenic viewpoint was refreshing and a perfect way to start the day. Overall, the experience was very good and thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway with top-notch hospitality.

We had a booking in the Ganga Cottage on 9 May 2025.I quite liked the location of the resort and the overall architecture ( The way it is designed). They welcomed us with a Tikka on the forehead and by a beads necklace.A welcome drink was offered. To go from one place to another the pathway is hilly and steep.One can always ask for a cart to go from one point to the other.Their services are good and free of cost. Overall the staff is courteous. Throughout the day they have activities to keep one busy .They are free of cost.Morning Trek,Yoga,Meditation and evening Ganga arti.They have an activity room for kids and all.Cycles for moving around. Spa services were good. The High Tea is highly recommended. Their variety of snacks were good in taste. Evening dinner was good.Esp continental food ( Salad and pasta)and Indian food( we had dal,paneer tikka and roti) Morning buffet breakfast had a good lay out but personally I was a little disappointed due to the poor taste of the food. There are around 250 steps to go to the Ganges.However we had to come back half way due to the Langoor and his family sitting on the tree a.d ready to jump in us.Also after 100 stairs few steps have completely washed away so we could not go down.We got a little disappointed as that was the whole purpose of taking the cottage. However our overall stay was fantastic.We shall go once again in future.Highly recommended.
