Rainbow Paradise Beach Resort

Cute hotel, but moldy and stinky. It seems like it was built more than 20 years ago and some areas haven't been maintained since. Rooms are spacious and the view is great. Awesome views and convenient shops downstairs, very close to the bus terminal, right on the beach, excellent location. Difficult to breath the air while the air con is running, it smelt like mold and caused me to cough badly for the first week.

Bad experience. I'm giving the review for our vacation here. Stay for 3 nights at this hotel on 25th - 27th July 2025. FIRSTLY, I was very disappointed with the check-in, having to do self-check-in on our own, said by the Hotel receptionist, because we booked through LWE. Because half of the as property owned by LWE. SECONDLY, they only provide us only 1 single electronic card for our room. we had a very difficult time and situation when we went out separately. THIRDLY, for the swimming pool, they do NOT provide towels for you because you book from LWE. FOURTHLY, the Room Air Conditioner is NOT working, just warm air blowing from the air conditioner. USELESS Wifi not working at all...RPBR (code 77skm6) FIFTHLY, The bathroom super dirty and broken door; they use binding tape to patch the damaged door. The room smells very bad. Only provide two pillows...Why?? Not providing Tissue paper SIXTHLY, Parking NOT FREE... you have to pay RM47.00 for 3 Nights. Breakfast NOT Provided Management should be responsible for all these problems. You have to take seriously and be efficient to overcome them. Here I would like to share my experience when I first came in 2022. I came for a Holiday from Denmark, everything was excellent and good. Now I WILL WOULD NOT recommend this hotel for families and couples looking for a peaceful or comfortable holiday in Penang. Guys check everything and survey in detail before Booking!!!!!!,

Worst hotel of my life. First day we checked in we waited an hour and when we finally check-in our room card didn't work. So we went up and down a lot of times. And then we were spotted by another employee in the hallway he was good but also took a while to help us sort the room out. Then during our stay everyday we put a clean room thing on our door but it was never cleaned unless we go to the counter to clean the room. We had another stay with us so we had to get another room and check in and check out and when we went to check in they said they didn't have our information and that took around an hour to sort out. The woman at the counter also had a really bad attitude, maybe because it took a while to sort out. We also booked a room with two separate beds but they gave us a double bed. The hotel is overall very old, the elevator button in the lobby is broken and the furniture and everything is very old. (Like tv ac) And the first room also didn't have a fridge but the second one did? I had a very bad experience at this hotel and pretty much ruined our moods on our trip. Please stay away for your own good. Usually I don't leave reviews but my experience is so bad that I felt like doing something, very bad experience and would not come again ever.
