Room was lovely, enjoyed our stay there very much (jaccuzi bath was a highlight!), we had to wait a while for service but when the guy arrived he was lovely and helped us out a lot. Breakfast the next morning was incredible, very much enjoyed that. Overall would definitely recommend to a friend!
Quirky! Lots to like and friendly staff. Traditional mansion house converted into a hotel. Decor is eye catching and would work well for a wedding venue or party. Room was good. Fussy old poorly fitting room key. Nice bar, decent food and great breakfast. Plenty of parking.
The welcome here was friendly and the service was good throughout. Our room was a nice big room but it was a bit tired and worn and the chairs around the dining table were really badly stained. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss. My husband had a nice fry up but the poached eggs my friend and I had were all cooked to different degrees with one or two being hard boiled which was disappointing. The sauce on my eggs royal was thick and not unlike unsweetened custard but the salmon was plentiful and tasty.
