Rama Beach Resort and Villas

Extremely good value for money resort. The rooms are very spacious and neat. There is an old world charm about the resort with granite railings and fences. The service is good and the staff pleasant and helpful. The breakfast has a good spread but can do with some freshness in the bakery products. May be a little bit more variety of Indian food can also help considering the large Indian tourist presence in the hotel. The Kuta beach is walking distance from the hotel and the airport is about 4 km. This is an ideal place for families and couples alike.

We stayed at Rama Beach Resort for 14 nights – honestly, far too long. The rooms were dated and not particularly clean. Everything felt like it needed a serious update. The location in Kuta was disappointing. The streets were very broken the shops/markets were all carbon copies of each other. You had to go to Seminyak for decent shops, restaurants or beach. Kuta is flooded with Indian restaurants – nothing against that cuisine, but it’s not what we came to Bali for. The resort itself is a manageable size, which helped create a more personal vibe, but that was one of the few positives. During breakfast, staff constantly tried to sell us other meals, which became really annoying – it felt like we couldn’t just eat in peace. To top it off, one of the staff members took an uncomfortable interest in my husband. It was awkward and inappropriate, and definitely put a damper on our time there. Not a place we’d return to. Needs better boundaries, better maintenance, and a better sense of hospitality

Poor service by the the lady how was at reception on 17/08/2025 afternoon at 12 00 pm.. we were 4 people out of which one was a child.. after paying the total bill we have requested for weighing our luggage and I saw a person at the reception bringing the weighing machine. But still they Didn’t help us and without attending us went for attending other customers.. when I asked the lady she informed you were paying bill hence they went to attend other customer when other 2 were sitting idle. we ended up doing the same by ourselves.. when we checked in on 12/08/2025 I have seen myself the staff doing it for others and also helping them wrapping there luggage.when we came to lobby only we were there as customers so priority should be for us first.. we also noted doing good service to other customers who came later..Of all the 5 nights stayed this was our worst experience.. all customers to be treated equally and all nationalities to be given same level of importance especially when we are tourist who has come to explore your country Very bad service Rama Beach Resort.. will never recommend this to anyone who we knows
