Very nice 4 stars hotel in a historical building, from the 1950s, in old town Astana. Out of the main city centro but still within easy reach.
Clean, spacious rooms. The whole hotel is in good condition. Great bar, laundry and reception staff… very polite, attentive and efficient.. special thanks to the lady in charge of laundry service. She came to pick up my laundry bag so quickly, and my express service was way less than 3 hrs. Also freshly squeezed lobby bar juices are delicious. Not too far from the main attractions, however I wouldn’t suggest walking. Taxi is pretty cheap. I’ve been working for the hotel industry for more than 11 years and I can tell my room was clean ❤️ which is the most important thing for me. For some reason we had an extra bed ready - did not bother us at all..
I checked out today at 5:15 AM. I called reception to explain that I had heavy luggage and requested a trolley to be delivered to my room. After 10 minutes, nothing had arrived, so I called reception again, but there was no answer. I then went down to the reception area, but no one was there either.
