Ramada by Wyndham Baden Hotel du Parc

There is nothing particularly positive or negative that sticks out for me in this hotel, other than perhaps the location, which is really quiet yet convenient, within easy walking distance of the station and the town centre. Other than that, the experience felt very average. The whole building and the decor in the room felt very dated (as if stuck in the 70s), and all was very dark. In the room, I was unable to find sufficient lighting options, which didn't help. The shower cubicle was rather narrow, yet right beside it, there was a corner that is completely unutilized and serves no purpose at all, which I found a bit puzzling. Location is excellent. Service was as one would expect in a 4-star establishment. I liked the breakfast, with quite good food options, and good bread. As I had booked the hotel only for one night (passing through, after arriving from the airport), it served its purpose, but it's not necessarily a place where I would want to stay several nights, unless it receives an update.

Stayed here for 4 nights. On the whole the hotel is ok. Looked clean in most parts. Looks a bit outdated if being honest. Service needs improvement. When room service is requested bedsheets are not changed (even if they're dirty!) and the amenities are not replenished. Aware : Car parking is not free! And comes with a hefty charge of 25 CHF /night. Again was given mixed messaged about this.

Room facility and service is not upto the standard, during summer not mindful for international customers with air con options Room doesn’t have good ventilation, with high humidity levels causing sleep deprivation The weather during our visit was 28 - 30 degree, with no provision for fan or temperature management. The old food box which was left for disposal near the trash bin due to space constraints, was not cleared leading to intolerable ambience in the room ( again due to poor ventilation). When asked the hotel, the reply was to bring the trash down and dispose in the restaurant ( though the restaurant lady was kind enough to guide for disposal ). There is no one in the hotel who could listen & solve such problems and the receptionist was not courteous to the customers The 2 nights stay in the hotel made my holiday to Switzerland very very memorable indeed…..
