Ramada by Wyndham Istanbul Florya

The hotel is near the school, restaurant, coffee bar, and other mini-supermarkets like Carrefour. It's also not too far from the Istanbul Fair Center. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, equipped with expected amenities such as bathrobes, slippers, water, coffee and creamer, tea, and a kettle (although the kettle is not clean). The Wi-Fi connection is generally good, but I experienced around 20 minutes without internet despite being connected. EMPLOYEES The receptionist and staff are friendly and helpful. The Breakfast is good, especially the 100% natural honey they serve. CONS Room 416 has a lingering smell of cigarettes, even though it's a non-smoking room. The mini-bar is rather expensive. I suggest going outside to explore the many nearby stores where you can find what you need at a more reasonable price. There is no flat iron available. The door, when opened, automatically closes. This is good, but when the door closes, it makes a loud noise and disturbs the nearby room. A solution should be found to prevent this noise. SHOWER ROOM The water temperature is inconsistent. It suddenly becomes very cold and then very hot. Be cautious, as you might get burned when the water suddenly turns extremely hot. CAR PARKING Car parking is a real problem. There is limited space, making it difficult to find a spot easily. Double parking and parallel parking are common issues. You need to check for available spots yourself, and the staff responsible for parking are not always present on time.

Not an impressive stay, starting with a man claiming to be a valet who offered to park my car. He had no ID or uniform to prove his role. While valet services are usually charged, this one was free, but my car was left on the main street instead of being parked in the garage as promised. The breakfast was underwhelming. The highlight of the experience was the friendly cat welcoming us at the breakfast facility.

Rooms are really old, nice style but still require some upgrades. Service at reception is ridiculous. The lady is mumbling and does not understand simplest English words. We booked 2 separate beds, and there was a big problem to find this room, the lady had to talk to her manager xD. Breakfast is...really baaad. A Lot of olives and salted cheese. No quality bread, no quality at all, boring. You had to think what can you eat from that. Not European, not turkish, maybe the varieties of dry salads are for hamsters.
