Ramada by Wyndham Istanbul Sile

The hotel itself is really a 4 star hotel, but had no soul. The staff are not so friendly to guests, not impolite but I don't know no soul in the hotel, no music in corridors, no late night program like music and dance near the pool, . . .

After making a reservation and paying a deposit, I requested a refund of my deposit one hour later due to my mother's health issues. However, this disgraceful hotel, despite not having issued me a voucher, refused to cancel the reservation and did not refund my deposit. I am in the process of preparing to file formal complaints, with all the evidence, to the highest authorities within this hotel chain. Additionally, the hotel staff are unprofessional, disrespectful, and poorly trained. I have since learned that the hotel is old, dirty, and in a deplorable condition. If you do not want your holiday ruined, avoid this disgraceful hotel at all costs.

We went to Ramada Wyndham in Sile in the ramadan bayram holiday in April to unwind and to have time off from the city. We chose Ramada Wyndham because we thought it was a trusted name and it was a safe choice, almost a guarantee that we would have a nice stay. However, that was far from the truth. 1) First of all, upon arriving, there was no one to greet us nor take our luggage. The revolving door wasn't working so we had to push it ourselves and still no one in sight. 2) We went there to unwind and relax so imagine our disappointment upon enquiring that their indoor swimming pool was closed for maintenance. This wasn't mentioned upon booking nor was it stated on their website. We wouldn't have chosen the hotel had we known it on time. 3) The hotel room was dirty. We found hairs on our towel and a layer of dust on the curtain. The shower area wasn't cleaned properly too. We brought this up to the manager who changed and upgraded our room. Though the room was better, it still was dusty. 4) In the evening during dinner time, the area near the lobby with a long dining table was occupied by a huge group of elderly crowd celebrating over dinner and live music. This was an enclosed, indoor area on the ground floor. Never mind the noise of super loud music and chatterings (we are all up for people having fun), they were all smoking and the whole area reeked of cigarette smell with no ventilation. Isn't this illegal? It smelled like some tacky, cheap motel bar. We were wondering if this goes according to Ramada by Wyndham international franchised hotel policies and we will look into this. It honestly was run like someone's own private playground and this should definitely be made known to the main headquarter as there certainly was no professionalism nor standard especially it being a Ramada Wyndham hotel. Looking at the numerous negative complaints here, I think this franchised hotel should be investigated to see if they have adhered to the rules and regulations to upkeep and maintain the consistent Ramada Wyndham standard worldwide Avoid at all cost.
