A very nice and modern hotel with very friendly staff. The rooms are spacious even the bathroom is comfortable spacious with a floor-even shower. The rooms are nicely decorated with a stylish interior. The restaurant has tasteful dishes, but is already closing at 10pm. The breakfast buffet has a lot dishes and everything you might desire. The hotel is located directly in the city centre so that the Kremlin is only a 10min walk away. Price-value-ratio is perfect.
(Experience from 2013) The breakfast was way better than in any other hotel in Kazan - and I've stayed in 3 or 4 hotels in Kazan. Service was great and the price is very competitive. Location is ideal if you only need to stay in the city for business, as it's close to the train station. At the same time, location is probably the only drawback of this hotel. The hotel is a bit far from the historical center and the area around the hotel doesn't feel safe.
It is the worst hotel not only in Russia, but in the whole world. I can’t imagine that there is a hotel which would charge you if you ask towels or free water. Moreover, it is a very old hotel with very very bad smell especially in rooms. The furniture is so old. The prices are so expensive and it doesn’t deserve. The receptionist thinks herself as a big boss . She is rude and stupid . There are only two receptionists who are polite. I think that most of the reviews are fake. Not real.
