Ramada by Wyndham Prague City Centre

The hotel has a charming location, but it is quite old and would benefit from renovation. The furniture and TV are noticeably outdated, and some of the power outlets weren’t working properly. The bathroom also appeared worn, and there was an unusual opening that felt a bit concerning. On the bright side, the staff were kind and helpful, which I appreciated. Overall, while I was grateful for the experience, I personally wouldn’t choose to stay here again unless some updates are made.

The only good thing about this hotel is its central location — that’s the reason we chose it. However, everything else was a major disappointment. The hotel is old and outdated. The air conditioning barely works, and in the summer heat, the room was unbearably hot. We couldn’t sleep properly. The beds were old and extremely uncomfortable, and the pillows were terrible. We requested a new pillow, but the one we received was even worse. While the room looked somewhat like the photos, the overall comfort level was far below expectations. The reception staff were not friendly at all — they were cold, distant, and acted in a strictly formal manner. There was no complimentary water in the room, and not even basic toiletries were provided. Honestly, apart from the location, there is no reason to stay at this hotel. It does not live up to the Ramada name. Very disappointing. I strongly recommend looking for other options in Prague — you’ll likely get much better value and a more pleasant stay elsewhere.

This was one of the most uncomfortable hotel stays I’ve ever had — and shockingly, at a 5-star property. For all 3 nights of my stay, the hotel turned off the air conditioning at night, leaving the room hot and stuffy. This wasn't a malfunction — it was apparently standard practice. Despite repeated complaints, nothing was done. I found it incredibly difficult to sleep, and it completely ruined what should have been a restful trip. At this price point, basic comfort should be a given. This level of cost-cutting and disregard for guest comfort is unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to double-check policies before booking. Definitely not what you'd expect from a high-end hotel.
