Ramada by Wyndham Queenstown Central

5/5 – Highly Recommend! Everything about our stay at this hotel was perfect. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others without hesitation. The beds were super comfy with a soft and more firm pillow on the bed ensuring a great night’s sleep, although we didn't like the donna between two sheets as the donna easily came out of the sheets during the night & I'm sure the donna wouldn't be washed between guests making it very unhygienic. The shower had excellent hot water pressure – such a bonus after a long day out skiing. Room were on the smaller size but we had enough room to open our large suitcase, would have been nice to have a chair in the room. Rooms were spotlessly clean Rooms are soundproof except for you can hear people in the corridors. The location is ideal – just a scenic 10-minute walk into town. There’s a great restaurant downstairs with we especially loved the woodfire pizzas. Customer service was top-notch – all the receptionist were incredibly helpful and friendly. Super convenient access to the Remarkables and Coronet Peak ski bus, with a stop right outside the hotel. If you can, go for a lake view room – the views are absolutely stunning! An all-round fantastic experience!

I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights — it was clean, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. When it was time to check out, I was about 30 minutes late, but no one rushed me or made a fuss. My flight was later in the day, so I left my bag with them, which was really convenient. The place is clean, reasonably priced, and close to the city center. I definitely recommend it!

Rooms were good, modern and well maintained, though kept bumping the head on steel I-beam adjacent to bed. Great kitchen and good size bathroom with excellent washer and dryer. Daily cleaning staff did an amazing job. Front desk helpful and attentive. The restaurant is nothing special. Long wait times for food at both dinner and breakfast and had to ask for my coffee. Menu limited and overpriced given how far from the waterfront. Decent oatmeal though. Wait staff in the restaurant rated 3 star bringing the overall score down.
